The name "Hazy '96" is a mashup of two things: the beer style, and the year Elysian Brewing was established. Hazy '96 is driven by an overwhelming sense of nostalgia for the 90s. Pulling visual cues from video cassette packaging, you are automatically transported to a specific moment in time. The artwork for Hazy '96 switches up our usual packaging by focusing on familiar design elements — such as type and color — as opposed to a living subject. As you turn the can in your hand, you'll notice every piece of a video cassette box has been considered. Even the sticker on the cassette tape itself is being utilized as the UPC.

The Metal Ox Juicy IPA returns! This celebratory Chinese Zodiac IPA is brewed with Seattle's own MarketSpice Lychee Rose Black Tea and double dry-hopped with Citra, Simcoe Cryo, and Loral hops. This 2021 Chinese New Year release marked our second cross-country collaboration with Asheville, NC’s Highland Brewing.

We brewed a huge amount of sweet huckleberries into a balanced IPA with lactose and vanilla to bring you a frosty beer reminiscent of a classic diner berry milkshake.

Mosaic hops are the superstar in our rotating hazy IPA with heavy additions throughout whirlpool, dip, and dry hopping. Expect flavors of apricot, tropical fruit, blueberry, and dank pine.

Our South African Juicy IPA features late and dry hoppings of Southern Passion and Southern Star. These hops originate near the city of George, South Africa and lend notes of red berries, apricot, green coconut, and orange peel.

Our latest Juicy IPA features heavy whirlpool, dip, and dry hop additions of Galaxy. Originating in Australia, Galaxy hops and are loved by many for their high oil content and layered flavors of tropical passionfruit, citrus peel, and black currant.

Considered one of the original citrus species and often called “Chinese grapefruit”, pomelos have an herbal flavor reminiscent of a mix of limes and modern grapefruit. Pomelo zest and juice is blended into our full-bodied Juicy IPA.

Hazy raw honey body topped with fluffy off-white foam. Enormous fruity aromas of peach, Tropicana, starfruit, and Juicy Fruit. Big jammy flavors of orange sherbet, creamy papaya, tropical punch, and white grape. Finishes round and juicy with a Tutti Frutti blast.

We finally made a Hazy! Extralux is a silky, Hazy IPA with subtle notes of melon, peach, and white grape, accented by a resinous piney backbone. A juicy treat that comes on with a huge hop profile, finishing smooth and mellow.

Extralux is available to purchase in the Four Winds taproom and through our online shop right now! We will begin sending flats out to shops across B.C. starting the week of December 20th. A limited number of flats will also be available for distribution in Alberta through Copper & Theory.

Our El Dorado Juicy IPA features heavy whirlpool and dry hop doses of El Dorado and Mosaic hops. El Dorado hops are known for their intensely fruity profile bursting with flavors of watermelon, pear, pineapple, and apricot.

The newest release in our Hazy IPA series, this beer features the tropical flavors of fruity Sultana hops.

A full juice-like mouthfeel highlights the red raspberry notes of the coveted Southern Passion hops grown in South Africa. The 2021 return of this ENIAC Series Juicy IPA will excite beer drinkers looking for a flavorful, hop-loaded IPA option this June.

Mother Earth Hazy IPA is fruity, well-balanced, and made with responsibly sourced ingredients. This year we will be donating $1 per pint and bottle sold to the Whatcom Land Trust. The Whatcom Land Trust works to restore and protect the wildlife habitat, scenic, agricultural and open space lands throughout Whatcom County that make this special place our home. With local malts from Skagit Valley Malting, and Salmon-Safe certified hops from Crosby Hops in the Willamette Valley and Roy Farm Hops in Yakima, this IPA has soft, bready malt flavors and lush citrus and tropical fruit hop notes.
