Kulshan Mother Earth Hazy IPA

Mother Earth Hazy IPA is fruity, well-balanced, and made with responsibly sourced ingredients. This year we will be donating $1 per pint and bottle sold to the Whatcom Land Trust. The Whatcom Land Trust works to restore and protect the wildlife habitat, scenic, agricultural and open space lands throughout Whatcom County that make this special place our home. With local malts from Skagit Valley Malting, and Salmon-Safe certified hops from Crosby Hops in the Willamette Valley and Roy Farm Hops in Yakima, this IPA has soft, bready malt flavors and lush citrus and tropical fruit hop notes.

Kulshan Mexican Lager

This easy drinking Mexican Lager would be the perfect beer companion out on a white sandy beach, but it also does pretty well sitting outside on a beautiful sunny Bellingham day. Light crisp malt notes are the central feature of this beer, with a very dry, clean finish, and slight floral hop notes. Highly drinkable, we recommend adding a lime wedge for a slight citrus zing.

Like a perfect couple, beer and seafood bring out the best in each other. In pFriem Oyster Stout, we paired jet black, dry and mineral-rich stout with fresh, fruity, and brine-rich kumamoto oysters. The result offers silky aromas of chocolate ganache and lemon that slip into rich notes of praline and sea breeze. It’ll bring out the best in you, too.

Kulshan Barrel Aged Russian Imperial Stout 2021

An enticingly smooth and complex beer, full of intrigue and nuance, this year's Barrel Aged Russian Imperial Stout is one beautiful beer. Deceptively easy to drink at 11.6% ABV, it boasts notes of cherry, chocolate, vanilla, raisin and toffee, with just enough boozy heat to put some color in your cheeks. A product of patience and skilled blending, this year's vintage was aged in barrels from both Stein Distillery and Westland Distillery, and though it is delicious right now, it also definitely will benefit from being cellared in the bottle for some amount of time.

Kulshan Shucks on the Beach

Shucks on the Beach is a collaboration with our good friends at Taylor Shellfish Farms. German Pilsner and Vienna malts provide a rich, bready malt profile, while the coriander and pink peppercorns add subtle fruity and spicy accents, and the sea salt adds just the slightest hint of refreshing salinity. A fun twist on a classic style, this beer is a perfect companion for fresh shellfish but is also delicious all on its own.

Kulshan Coffee Milk Stout

We drink nearly as much coffee as beer around here, so brewing up a collaboration with our friends at Fidalgo Coffee was a no-brainer. Many hours were spent at our Sunnyland brewery and at Fidalgo’s Burlington roastery discussing how to craft the perfect blend. If you choose to forego your morning coffee for this beer, we won’t judge.

Fort George Hodgepodge

Aged in Westward Whiskey barrels, “Hodgepodge is possibly the most approachable of the barrel aged beers we’re releasing,” Dave explains. “Dark chocolate, roast, and rye spice balance with some tasty oak to create a complex and very drinkable barrel aged stout. It’s the driest of this year’s releases, but it still packs a heavy punch at 12% ABV.” It’s also the smallest batch of the Stout Month bottles, so grab one while you can.
