Brewery Maritime Pacific warms Seattle's Ballard neighborhood by releasing Jolly Roger Christmas Ale, November 1st.

With the conclusion of Halloween, comes the fast realization that Thanksgiving is only 27 days away and with it the dirge of Christmas commercials, advertising, and decorations. So why not numb the headache, inspired by countless X-mas promotions, by drinking something equally festive? How about a Jolly Roger Christmas Ale?

Composed of Pale, Crystal, Carastan, Munich and Wheat malts and barleys; in addition to classic hops Cascade, Chinook, and Amarillo. At 9.5% ABV (Alcohol By Volume) and 42 IBU, Jolly Roger is a true-to-form Winter Warmer and should compliment future bonfire parties, winter-themed parties, or your next Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner. What also makes this beer remarkable is its cellar-ability (if that's even a word), if one is willing to set aside a bottle or six-pack for between 3 to 5 years. This is probably why the brewery keeps a few years of Jolly Roger in their cooler, just in case they want to have a party. Oh, that.

Starting at 5 pm, this Friday (November 1st), Seattle's Maritime Pacific Brewing Company is releasing its annual classic - Jolly Roger Christmas Ale. During the event, guests will have an opportunity to enjoy this year's 2019 Jolly Roger, as well as variants including; Port Aged, Bourbon Barrel-aged, plus a few limited editions all available in flights or other formats. In addition to Christmas Ales abound, the kitchen has a limited-edition menu which should pair well with that Jolly Roger in your glass.

As always, this event is open to the public and there will be specials on six-packs, cases, and 22-ounce bottles of Maritime Pacific Jolly Roger Christmas Ale. Maritime Pacific Brewery is open most days from 12 pm and is located at 1111 NW Ballard Way in Seattle Ballard neighborhood. For more information, visit https://www.maritimebrewery.com/.
