Turn procrastination into action, and attend this year's Winter Beer Festival at Hangar 30 in Magnuson Park, December 2nd and 3rd.

Now that you’ve consumed copious leftovers of Thanksgiving turkey, ham, or tofurkey and side-dishes, it’s time to look forward to Christmas. More importantly, it’s time for bacchanalia, for punch bowls filled with cocktails and holiday drinks, and of course parties. So what are your plans for this Friday or Saturday? 

If it includes a departure from college or professional sports, then we have just the event for you - the Winter Beer Festival.

In collaboration with the Washington Beer Commission, the Winter Beer Festival provides an opportunity for imbibers to enjoy beers from up and down the I-5 corridor and beyond! With over 30 breweries committed, this year’s Winter Beer Festival will showcase no less than 75 unique beers during 3, four-hour, sessions. Oh, and it's hosted in the warming comfort of Hangar 30 at Magnuson Park at 6310 NE 74th Street in Seattle.

Starting this Friday, from 5:30 pm the Winter Beer Festival starts the weekend off with a four-session featuring exclusives that day only. Then on Saturday, December 3rd, stop in either from noon to 4 pm or 5:30 pm to 9 pm, During each session, there will not only be beers found around the region but also beers that are exclusive to the festival and brewery taprooms.

We blended a small component of aged barleywine, which accentuated the subtle flavors of vanilla, maple, honey, oak, and leather from aging in 8-13-year-old Heaven Hill bourbon barrels. Disco Mullet CDA 68 IBU/6.6% ABV

Humulus lupulus and roasted malt meet in this wonderfully complex beer. Dark and malty with loads of Northwest hops including a hefty helping of Columbus and Cascade Cryo to bring on the old school dank! Sure to satisfy both malt and hop lovers alike with some IPA business up front and a Porter party in the back.
