Delta's Four Winds Brewing brings back the 'OG' Series Mixed Pack, Greg, and Forgotten Fruit for the holidays.

With the holiday season fast underway, the Four Winds Brewing Company family invites you to visit their taproom or your local liquor store, in support of small business. Like so many breweries throughout the province, it has been challenging for many generations to endure this pandemic. Because of this the brewery has shared the following news regarding their latest beers, should you need an excuse to revisit this overlooked brewery in Delta.

On deck, for nearly two weeks, the Original Series Mixed Pack returns featuring your favorites. A four-way release, featuring their Pale Ale, Saison, IPA, and Pilsner, this convenient 12-ounce, 12-pack is great for socially-distant, backyard bonfires, a treat from working out in the yard, or as a gift for friends during the holidays.

Breaking it down, here’s what’s included in each bottle.

  • Pale Ale. Our American-style pale ale is a tribute to the origins of craft-brewed beer. A dynamic duo of Cascade and Centennial hops combine for a refreshingly bitter ale, varied with the subtle maltiness that gives way to a clean, brisk finish. 5.2% and 38 IBU

  • Saison. We've reincarnated a Belgian standard. Brewed with aromatic Noble hops, we finish our Saison with Pacific Northwest Cascade hops for nuanced notes of flower and spice, and ferment it hot for a fruity ester profile. 6.5% and 30 IBU

  • IPA. A bitter beer for the sweetest coast, our West Coast IPA hits major-key notes of citrus and flower, but finishes with a mellowing, hoppy flourish. Smooth and spirited at the same time? Only on the West Coast. 7% and 70 IBU

  • Pilsner. New World flavours infuse this traditional Czech-style Pilsner.  Bittered with timeless Bohemian Saaz and finished with a heavy measure of New Zealand Motueka, this Pilsner is dry-hopped for a lively citrus lift. 4.8% and 38 IBU.

Following the re-release of their 12-ounce, variety 12-pack, the brewery is happy to re-release a Father’s Day classic in Greg.

Brewed to be a West Coast IPA, Greg is brewed in homage the late co-founder, Greg Mills.

Greg loved the ocean and living on the West Coast. He was a family man who was endlessly proud of the legacy that he created with his children. Greg is the type of beer that Greg would have enjoyed while watching another West Coast sunset.

Finally, the brewery is happy to announce the re-release of their wood-fermented, Farmhouse Ale, in Forgotten Fruit. Brewed on the success of their previous batches, the brewery sought to provide comforts known to many who have supported Four Winds Brewing in the past.

Made with locally-foraged quince, Forgotten Fruit has notes of applesauce, citrus, and pears. A beer that is light, refreshing, tart, and above all remarkable. Paired with a plate of roasted poultry or seafood, this beer will comfort you through the holidays.

Look for Four Winds Brewing Company’s Original Series Mixed Pack 12-pack, Greg, and Forgotten Fruit at their taproom or at your local liquor store.
