Named after the Greek god of the East wind, Delta’s Four Winds Brewing invites you to experience the Eurus Series. An exhibition of beers inspired by beer’s unique and diverse European heritage, these beers are available in limited quantities. Which makes the news that another beer is joining the shrine of Eurus Series beers in Apricity.

Released last week at Four Winds’ taproom, Apricity gets its name from the old English term for warmth received from the sun’s rays on a Wintery day. But this is only part of the story.
A blend of beers aged in foeders and wooden barrels, spanning across the past three years. In sampling many barrels to put together the perfect representation of European meets Canadian, Apricity has,
A bright acidity brought on by the use of Italian plums is contrasted by a soft, sweet, woody roundness imparted by sugar maple wood and a touch of maple syrup. Inspired by the classic reds of the Flanders region in Belgium, this foeder-aged Sour Ale is complex, refreshing, and surprisingly light. Apricity will perk up any cold winter’s night.
Now at their taproom in Delta, Four Winds invites you to stop in for a takeout of 4 x 473 mL “tall cans”. Or if you prefer, ask your local Liquor Store if they have Apricity in stock.
