A friend from the Gorge returns, with the release of Double Mountain Fa La La La La Winter Ale.

Typically, for those who favor a chilled pint over a glass of hot cocoa, the color of choice is dark. It is during this period when sunsets arrive sooner and temperatures fall, that we seek out those so-called Winter Ales and Winter Warmers. For Double Mountain, this is a time when they remind the dark-conscious that what's in your glass should look more like an amber sunset than a nighttime skyline. Introducing the return of Fa La La La La Winter Ale.

Not every winter beer needs to be dark. In this spirit, we bring you great tidings of joy with this year’s Fa La La La La. Centennial hops take the reins with evergreen and bright citrus, with resounding choruses of Pilsner and Crystal malts echoing in the refrain.

Brewed to be an India Pale Ale. Fa La La La La is a bold but balanced, aromatic, ale which inspires thoughts of warmth as you sip and admire this unique Winter IPA. At 7.5% and 85 IBU, Fa La La La La will change your perception of what defines a Winter Ale.

“We look forward to our winter bottling party every year and anxiously await sharing this great beer with the rest of you. Our crew brewed and bottled this together, come join the fun”, Matt Swihart, Brewmaster

Look for this on draft at both the breweries original taproom, in Hood River, and at their taproom in Portland's Woodstock neighborhood. For more information on and other beers from the brewery, visit https://www.doublemountainbrewery.com/
