… Gigantic Brewing has teamed up with Boneyard Brewery to bring you the hottest new innovation in IPA, We Don’t Need No Stinking Hops. Two of the biggest IPA centric breweries in Oregon have joined forces to brew an entirely new IPA style concept: all the juiciness without all of the hops. We hope you will delight in this innovative collaboration, inspired by a legend, as your next sunny day IPA.
“We wanted to try a different approach to the juicy IPA craze,” Van Havig explains, “This beer has beenen juicend with a ridiculous amount of tangerine puree and then fermented with nordic kveik yeast, which produces a citrusy aroma.”
To brew We Don’t Need No Stinking Hops, we added prodigious amounts of tangerine puree, fermented with the orangey-aromatic kveik yeast to create a properly juicy IPA with just a dash of Citra hops. The result is a refreshing, golden IPA with notes of tangerine, sweet orange and citrus. Released just in time for the start of beautiful weather, start your days anew in the fresh air and sunshine with a pint that is dry, refreshing and begs to be drank.
We brought back one of our favorite artists for We Don’t Need No Stinking Hops, Ben Walker-Storey, who loves making art and making people laugh. He’s created show posters for comedians like Dana Gould, Brian Posehn, Maria Bamford and Tim & Eric, animation for the Adam Carolla Show, and original portraits of several comedians who hang in San Francisco’s legendary Cobb’s Comedy Club.
