For those of you who are growing tired of the words, fresh hop or Oktoberfest, the folks at Mother Earth Brewing have heard you.

Brewed to be a part of their Project X Series, Sectioned answers the question - “can I just get a fresh IPA already?!”

Starting out “modest”, at 6.6% ABV, Sectioned makes use of four hops in Simcoe, Citra, Azacca, and Sultana. A rubiks cube, solved in a tornado, this combination of hops created a harmony of citrus and pine character. Like its predecessors, the loud and proud hops, are muted ever-so-slightly with the aid of base malt, wheat and oats, and some lactose.

The result is a beer that has been spoken kindly at the brewery as being a “veritable mélange of tropical delights”.

Not satisfied with what’s IN the can, the brewery has sought out another groundbreaking artist, this time in Chantal deFelice

“Keeping on par with the series, the brewery collaborated with an underground Socal-based artist for the label; Chantal deFelice is the latest to grace the cover of Mother Earth’s latest HIPA, and her engrossing photography is no less impressive than the liquid at its core.”

Look for cans of Sectioned, released mid-October, in 16-ounce cans and in limited draft. Those looking for locations outside of the brewery, can visit https://www.motherearthbrewco.com or http://www.findmotherearthbrewing.com
