Now available Hellbent Brewing Plum Grisette, with Kolsch Hop Therapy IPA tomorrow.

Like so many breweries, who have pivoted, and pivoted, and pivoted some more, Hellbent Brewing Company has been challenged financially, mentally, and physically, all while avoiding the heartbreak that so many businesses are suffering through. However, as a side-effect of this survival instinct, the brewery is creating beers that are first for the brewhouse.

Originally consumed by laborers in the mine’s of Belgium, near the French border, Hellbent’s Sour Plum Grisette takes inspiration from the classic style which shares characteristics of another Belgian, the Saison. In their own words this is what the brewery had to say about their Plum Grisette.

The Grisette’s light, tart, and mildly  fruity body lends itself perfectly to our sour version with plums.  A little bit sour, just fruity enough, and an almost Gose-like finish, keeps this hybrid true to style, but still delivers something new.

At 3.8% ABV (alcohol by volume) and 10 IBU (international bittering units), Grisette is currently available in 12-ounce, six-packs, at the brewery taproom.

Following up on their newest beer style, the brewery went old school, German-style with a beer inspired by the city of Cologne.

Described as light, mildly bitter with a clean and golden hue, Hellbent Kolsch is a beer that goes with everything because like its name its simply enjoyable. Or as the brewery puts it.

Whether you’re just hanging out, having tacos, pizza, or Dim Sum, Hellbent Kölsch is here for you.

At 5.3% ABV and 25 IBU, Hellbent Kolsch is available tomorrow in 12-ounce, six-packs, at Hellbent Brewing Company’s taproom.

Finally, the brewery is pleased to announce the latest India Pale Ale in Hop Therapist. Want to learn more? Here’s what the brewery had to say about their new hopped-out creation. 0

What can you tell me about your Mother? Is being cooped up in the house causing a transference of aggression that stems from the womb? WHAT!?  Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar, and an IPA is just an IPA.  Well…this is isn’t any old IPA.

Inspired by the classic West Coast India Pale Ale, the brewery takes some liberties with the inclusion of updated hops like Ekuanot and El Dorado paired against classical Simcoe and Mosaic. The result is a beer that can be described as a tropical pint in your hand, when you’re trying to forget that 2020 ever existed.

Don’t think too long or you’ll miss your chance to recover a 16-ounce, four-pack, from the brewery when they sell these tomorrow. For more information on the party, visit http://www.hellbentbrewingcompany.com/ for information on current beers, hours, and news.

About Hellbent Brewing Company

Hellbent started with three of us – Jack Guinn, Chris Giles and Randy Embernate – longtime friends and restaurant industry veterans. For us, starting Hellbent was the natural (and the coolest) thing to do, growing directly out of our experience and our love of beer. For years we home-brewed and toiled over our business plan. Then, we met Brian Young – award winning brewer, co-owner and fast friend – who turned out to be the missing link. Within a couple months, we were on the hunt for the perfect location.

We wanted our brewery in Lake City, where Chris and Jack already called home, to contribute to the growing beer scene here. When we stepped into the old CM Hopkins building for the first time, we knew we had found our venue. Starting right away, we gutted it and began the transformation, building with reclaimed wood, steel, good humor, and a fair amount of muscle.

Finally, after years of fierce determination and hard work (including seven months of construction), we opened our doors in the thick of microbrew country. We didn’t do this alone. We are humbled by the support and kindness of our friends and family that helped us along the way. So, to our beer-loving brothers and sisters of the Pacific Northwest, cheers and welcome to Hellbent!
