Anniversary Preview: WA: There's still time in March to celebrate an anniversary. The Pine Box, Brouwer's Cafe among our picks

March it seems is the month of the anniversary. Be it randomly selected or rooted in significance, the anniversary appears to be a central theme for both breweries and alehouses in the Greater Seattle area.

To this end, we would like to draw your attention to several worthwhile destinations which encourage reflection and a future hopefully without regret.

March 22nd, 2016 - The Pine Box
Located at 1600 Melrose Ave avenue in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood, The Pine Box will celebrate their 4th anniversary. Recognized by many both locally and internationally, owners Dean Hudgens and Ian Roberts are celebrating from 3 pm, this Tuesday. Get there early if you want to score a bottle (or more) of 4th Nail, brewed in collaboration with Stoup Brewing Company. Doors open at 3 pm with no doubt an awe-inspiring list of draft beers to enjoy.

March 24th, 2016 - Brouwer's Cafe
A few miles away from The Pine Box, in the Fremont neighborhood, lies Brouwer's Cafe. Now in its 11th year, the Belgian-inspired alehouse will have over 60 draft options to pair with your definition of celebration. Complimenting a jaw-dropping list will be a commemorative beer, brewed with Cloud Burst Brewing Company. Dubbed HU11ABALOO, this Double IPA will wake your palate and remind you that age hasn't slowed Vern and his crew down at all. Brouwer's Cafe is located at 400 North 35th Street.

March 25th, 2016 - Watershed Pub and Kitchen
Founded by one of Bob Brenlin's (of Latona Pub, Hopvine Pub, and Fiddler's Inn) disciples, Ben Curran, the Watershed Pub and Kitchen has been an anchor near the Northgate Mall. With a focus on handmade, oven-fired, pizzas and locally-sourced craft beer, the Watershed would like to invite all to celebrate their 2nd year of business. As part of the celebration, there will be happy hour pricing on Friday and Saturday, as well as a live music both nights. For more information, visit 10104 3rd Avenue N.E.

March 26th, 2016 - Foggy Noggin Brewing
From noon to six'ish, Bothell's first brewery will be celebrating their 6th year. As Bothell's only brewery, located in a residential neighborhood, inspires as much curiosity on the location as their beers. Foggy Noggin is located at 22329 53rd Avenue SE in Bothell, Washington.

April 2nd, 2016 - Chuck's Hop Shop on 85th Street
What started as a deli with a few craft beer options has grown into a lively spot to grab a pint or beer to go. Located at 656 NW 85th Street, Chuck's Hop Shop is celebrating their 6th anniversary on Saturday. Doors open at 10 am and it will be anybody's guess what draft options will be on the two televisions.
