February, 2016 (Seattle, WA) - Hale's Ales Brewery in Seattle, the Northwest's longest running independently owned brewery, is excited to announce the release of a brand new seasonal offering: Sidekick ASA - an American Session Ale.

An expert blend of two flavor characteristics that rarely coexist, bold flavor and low alcohol content, Sidekick ASA is brewed to be the perfect "sidekick" to all your spring and summer fun.

In creating Hale's Sidekick ASA, we've partnered with a famous pair of sidekicks, Seattle's own Tom Tangney and John Curley of KIRO Radio's "Tom & Curley" show, a dynamic duo famous for their own entertaining blend of often contrasting perspectives. With the promotional help of Tom & Curley and KIRO Radio, proceeds of every case sold will be donated to Northwest Harvest, Washington's own statewide hunger relief agency.

On Friday, March 11, Hale's Ales and 97.3 FM KIRO radio will host "The Tom & Curley Sidekick Spectacular" at Hale's Palladium Performance Theater.

Doors open at 7:00 PM, with Moisture Festival acts kicking off the evening's entertainment at 7:30 PM. Tom and Curley take the stage from 8:00 to 9:30 PM.  Afterwards, there will be time to meet and greet while enjoying a delicious pint of Hale's new Sidekick ASA.
