Anniversary Preview: WA: 11/7 Airways Brewing Company bistro celebrates 2nd year

Sorry for the late notice folks. But Kent's Airways Brewing invited us to their bistro's 2nd anniversary party.

From 11am to 9pm (aka, normal hours) the Airways Bistro will be celebrating their second year in business with limited edition beers and even dessert.

Opening on November 11th (2011), the Airways Bistro was a dream of co-owner Alex Dittmar.

“It’s been a crazy ride, and we could not have done it without support from the local community,” said Alex Dittmar, cofounder and head brewer at Airways Brewing Company. “When we opened this location in 2011, we never imagined how quickly it would grow. We can’t thank our employees, business community, and customers enough for their continued support of Airways Brewing.”

In fact Alex is so thankful that he has brewed a special beer for the occasion.

Named Bistro Brown, the beer is a collaboration made with the staff of Airways Brewing.

Featuring 5.4 percent ABV and 30 IBUs, this light bodied, deep colored brown features a hazelnut bouquet with a roasted coffee and slightly sweet nut flavor. Brewed with Magnum and Golding hops, this limited edition beer will only be on draught at the Bistro.
