Beer Release: WA: Get It Now … Boundary Bay Harvest Rye

If you saw last week’s notice regarding the Airways / Reuben’s Brews collaboration then you shouldn’t be surprised our supporting another Rye Ale release.

This time around Bellingham’s Boundary Bay brewing, known for their Cabin Fever & India Pale Ale, has released what some are calling a Oktoberfest-inspired beer.

Brewery Description

Celebrate autumn with the flavors of Rye and Malted Barley!  Pale 2-Row, Dark Crystal, Carastan, Munich and Chocolate malts, along with rye ,were “harvested” from an extra log boil in the kettle and balanced with Centennial and Cascade hops. The result; to produce an ale akin to an “Oktoberfest” style with predominate malted barley and rye flavors and that classic red-orange hue.

Stop into the brewery for a growler or pint of Harvest Rye.

Cheers
