If you are a regular visitor to the site then you heard about the Winter Beer Series, a celebration of dark beers from some highly recognized brewers. Back in December Bob Brenlin and Bill Jenkins kicked their three pub house beer, with Dark Days. With the Dark Days Black India Pale Ale, Bill Jenkins changed our perceptions of a Black IPA. Monday, Dick Cantwell hopes to improve your impressions on porter.

Cthulhu, as the beer was called by co-Owner and head brewer Dick Cantwell, is a dark hoppy monster. Compared to a "hoppy porter", this beer weighs in with seven different malts, and two hop varieties.
