Pilsner - Italian-style

Lucky Envelope Italian Pilsner

The lagerheads at Lucky Envelope Brewing are excited to bring you our dry-hopped Italian-style Pilsner. We brew with great deference to the originator of this style, Agostino Arioli, using all-European malts and hops for notes of crackers, honey, flowery geranium, and lemon peel.

The lagerheads at Lucky Envelope are excited to share this deliciously soft Italian-Style Pilsner with notes of honey-like malt sweetness and flowery continental hops. This beer was brewed with Weyermann Eraclea Malt grown off of Italy's Adriatic coast and hopped meticulously with Saphir and Hallertauer Mittelfrueh hops during late, whirlpool, and dry hopping.

Baerlic Blippopils

Inspired by the World Famous Tipopils from the Italian brewery Birrificio Italiano. What makes an Italian Pils, you ask? It differs in nearly every process from the mash to the water chemistry to the fermentation. But Italian Pilsners mostly stand apart from its classic relatives of the Czech and German tradition with a healthy dose of dryhopping during the primary fermentation and another after fermentation is complete. In our case, we chose 100% French Aramis hops throughout the kettle and the double dryhop.
