Reuben's Brews announces an expansion of their taprooms into Fremont, near the Marketime Foods.

Located just minutes from historic Ballard, Reuben's Brews is one of the neighborhood's older breweries. Now in its 11th year, the brewery remains an anchor for brewery-crawls or a family-friendly space to relax. Grace and Adam Robbings, a husband and wife team, own Reuben's Brews. It includes a couple breweries, a taproom, and a food truck called Reuben's Eats. Having emerged from the pandemic, the Robbings are the newest tenants at 4401 Fremont Avenue North.

Once a Herfy's Hamburgers, followed by a wine and coffee bar called Vif, Reuben's Brews' newest spot, will feature 12-taps and a food menu. With a pending opening date announced later this month, look for 12 Reuben's Brews' beers, along a menu sponsored by the brewery's sister spot, Reuben's Eats.

"We are beyond excited to introduce our new neighbors to the Reuben’s experience," says cofounder Adam Robbings. "And we’re passionate about using Fremont Avenue as another place to build community and share our love of great beer—and great food!”

For the Robbings, the Fremont neighborhood holds a special memory.

“Fremont was one of the first neighborhoods we lived in after moving to Seattle, and it still holds a special place in our hearts,” says Grace Robbings, co-founder and head of the Reuben’s Brews Foundation. “Adam and I lived right down the street from this charming space for over 14 years, so when the chance came to expand Reuben’s Brews to this address, it felt like it was meant to be. And in the same way that we’ve forged connections with Ballard businesses and nonprofits, we look forward to building relationships with new community partners in Fremont.”

Focused on providing a welcoming environment for all, the new space will feature not only food and drink, but indoor and outdoor seating. In addition, the brewery hopes people will take advantage of their to-go options if they're too busy to stay and drink.

For now, you're welcome to drive by 4401 Fremont Avenue North to review the changes leading up to their opening sometime soon.

About Reuben’s Brews

Adam and Grace Robbings opened Reuben’s Brews in 2012, after an award-winning homebrewing career, naming it after their first child, Reuben. At their family brewery they brew from the glass backwards: designing each beer with intention, unbound by constraints. They know that making that extra effort is worth it. From everyday favorites to innovative new releases, they want to share a love of discovery. Reuben’s Brews. Beer Unbound.
