Owing to the rise in COVID-19 transmission in the province, the organizers of Victoria Beer Week are delaying the start of April 2022.

Press Release

In light of the provincial health orders extending the restrictions of events and gatherings in British Columbia until February 16th, Victoria Beer Society has decided to postpone Victoria Beer Week until April 1st - 9th. (A week’s slate of events scheduled for March 4-12 had previously been announced with tickets going on sale in December.)

The Victoria Beer Society feels this is the best move for all vendors, volunteers and participants to be able to attend the events safely and comfortably. We know our members have been waiting patiently for the return of Beer Week and we want to give them the best possible experience we can.

Fear not, craft beer lovers, all your favourite events will still be happening. Any changes to specific events will be noted on our website and social media. The full schedule will be confirmed again in the coming weeks.

For those who have already purchased a ticket to a Victoria Beer Week event in March, your tickets are still valid for the April event. If participants are unable to attend the new date, they may request a refund on their tickets. Refunds requests can be sent to info@victoriabeersociety.com.

The VBW’s Beer School Program will be released alongside the updated dates. Beer Schools have been a staple for VBS members and the true craft beer nerds of Victoria, and this year we are bringing back some fan favourites like Clay Potter’s Homebrewing Workshop and Beer & Coffee with Discovery Coffee’s Brittany Davies. A few new exciting editions are to come, one being Beer & Chocolate led by Thirsty Writer Joe Wiebe and Sirene Chocolate’s Taylor Kennedy.
