Opening late June, Great Notion Brewing their 4th location in Portland, in the Hosford-Abernethy neighborhood.
Announced today, Portland, Oregon brewery Great Notion has announced the upcoming opening of their 4th taproom in the greater Portland area. Located in Portland’s southeast neighborhood of Hosford-Abernethy, Great Notion news location joins others in Beaverton, NE Alberta, and Northwest 28th Avenue. Besides four locations in Portland, the brewery has two more taprooms in Seattle’s Georgetown and Ballard neighborhoods. Finally, with this newest addition, the total number of taprooms, excluding a fulfillment center in Sacramento, California, comes to six.
For those who live in Portland's southeast neighborhood, Great Notion's newest spot will reside at 2105 SE Division Street. The former location of the Ether Shoes Building, this location will feature onsite parking, and is between Crisp Salads and Spielman Bagels, while being across from Scottie’s Pizza. Also, the location is accessible not only by car but is along both bike and Tri-Met routes.
With the lease signed and final touches being made, the brewery plans to open their outdoor beer garden, June 24th. Current hours will start 4 days of the week, from Thursday thru Sunday, with hours varying by day. Later into the Summer, the hope is to expand to 7 days a week, in keeping with their other locations.
Overall square footage should be around 2,500 with enough room for guests, including picnic tables and pop-up tents, a food truck. With a current plan to keep the space 21 and over, until they have hired a food truck, the 4th Portland location, at 2105 SE Division Street, hopes to convert to all ages soon.
