From year-round promotions, to more Project-X, Mother Earth Brewing Company breaks it down in their 2021 Release Calendar.

Three weeks into 2021 and already Mother Earth Brewing Company is looking towards February and into the next 11 months after sharing their release plans.

With a focus on expanding their Project X series, promoting beers everyone loves to year-round availability, and a new Late Stout, the brewery has optimism for the new decade

Of course the world is still enshrined in a pandemic, associated with the coronavirus, so Mother Earth Brewing remains focussed on releasing beers in cans first and speciality draft second. Mother Earth Brewing’s Director of Marketing puts it like this.

One important side-effect of Covid has been that it forced us to become laser-focused on the products that consumers are actually buying, and to ditch brands that had become distractions. Clearly, most businesses have struggled a lot and the margin for error is so thin that you really have to be putting resources where they belong. For us that’s in proven products, and in cans.

Year-Round

New in 2021, Mother Earth Brewing Company announces the upcoming release of Milk Truck Latte Stout, Boo Koo India Pale Ale, and the promotion of Hop Diggity DIPA from their Resinator series. Updated for 2021, this is your new year-round beers available in cans and on draft (where available).

  • Cali-Creamin’ Vanilla Cream Ale

  • Nitro Cali-Creamin’ Vanilla Cream Ale

  • Cali-Creamin’ Creamsicle

  • Quit Stalin* Bourbon Barrel-aged Russian Imperial Stout - Draft-exclusive

  • Milk Truck Latte Stout

  • Boo Koo India Pale Ale

  • Hop Diggity DIPA

  • Tierra Madre Mexican Lager

Taking a moment to observe the fresh additions to the year-round line-up, you will learn the following.

Boo Koo India Pale Ale.

At 6.5% ABV (alcohol by volume) and 65 IBU (international bittering units), this West Coast-style India Pale Ale is a healthy alternative to the plethora of hazy or juicy IPA that litters the landscape. With notes of fruit and pine, this beer remains light on the palate. Course, being a vegan-friendly beer might help it as well.

Hop Diggity Double IPA

One of the more in-demand beers at the brewery, Hop Diggity quickly attracted a following by those who love Mother Earth’s fun Double India Pale Ale.

Maybe it has something to do with the recipe of caramel and honey malts, resulting in a soothing sweetness. Or maybe it’s the tropical-like juiciness that inspires people to look forward to vacations somewhere temperate, preferably with one of these in their hand. Either way, this 8.2% ABV and 100+ IBU sipper, will pair well with camp outs in the backyard or camp outs in a remote part of the state, preferably in front of a fire.

Milk Truck Latte Stout. Currently, there isn’t much to report on this fresh addition, other than the brewery is excited to see the reaction from fans and acolytes alike. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.

Tierra Madre

With a nod to Mexican-lagers, the brewers at Mother Earth Brewing Company sought to replicate the experience of sucking down a few lime-accented bottles on the beaches of Cancun. Taking a cue from breweries south of the border, the brewers employ the right ratio of corn and Vienna malt, accompanied by lager yeast to produce a beer that is refreshing, and worthy of the session title.

At 4.5% ABV and 20 IBU you can drink one or more of these without feeling a thing. Pair this with your next taco Tuesday, takeout run, and thank the brewers later. Like so many Mother Earth beers, this one is vegan to boot.

Unfortunately,  the following year-round releases in 2020 will not be guaranteed available in 2021. They include.

  • Call Me Ginger Blonde Ale

  • Borne Blonde* Blonde Ale - Draft-exclusive

  • Sin Tax Imperial Peanut Butter Stout

  • Honcho* Hefeweizen - Draft-exclusive

Project X

Intriguing as it is adored, Project X showcases unique labels created by independent artists that have been translated from their original media, be it canvas, street art, or even sculpture. Teaming up with artists to spawn inspired works that tie into each beer’s namesake, we have adopted a distinctive concept that shifts the focus from just the liquid in the can, to a sensory experience that makes a piece of aluminum not just a thing of beauty, but a true work of art both inside and out.

These are one-off, limited production brews.

Designed to showcase local artists paired with an artistic expression from the brewery, Mother Earth Brewing Company has committed themselves to expanding this series of beers. Details are mum but what they’ve confirmed is that you can expect more releases from this series.

Limited

In 2020, Mother Earth Brewing Company offered a commitment to unique draft-exclusives, spread out throughout the year. Unfortunately, because of the ongoing pandemic, the brewery isn’t able to produce as many draft-exclusives. Instead, the brewery will focus on a series of beers, available on draft and in 16-ounce cans. Planned for 2021, they are.

  • Big Mother Triple IPA - Available May and June

  • Primordial Imperial IPA - Available August and September

  • Wet Hop Dreams Fresh Hop IPA - Available October and November

Like so many things from 2020, the brewery has elected not to guarantee the following beers, originally apart of their Rotating Draft line.

  • Fantasy Island Coconut Brown

  • Imagination Land Golden Stout

  • Cali Creamin’ Cherry Delight Cherry Vanilla Cream Ale

  • Fresh As It Gets Fresh Hop IPA

  • Mom’s Choice ‘Something Yummy’

4Seasons

The Four Seasons of Mother Earth is the top-tier of our beer program. Mostly barrel-aged, limited production, and exclusive distribution ensures the integrity of these unique, sought after concoctions. Occasionally collaborations with like-minded breweries are featured to provide a fun and creative outlet for our brewers that lead to special (and often impossible to recreate) handcrafted ales. This is the crème de la crème of our catalog.

Without giving much away, Mother Earth Brewing has confirmed that yes, 4 Seasons (aka, 4Seasons) will be back in 2021.

4Seasons also made a huge comeback in the last two years, kicking the 22oz bombers of yesteryear to the curb in favor of a 16oz can format. From American Barleywines to huge barrel-aged stouts, the Four Seasons of Mother Earth has and will continue to be the crème de la crème of our catalog. Expect something new every season this year, releasing on or around the appropriate Solstice or Equinox. Our latest release has the drinkability of a Guinness but the complexity of a fine wine. You'd be hard-pressed to find a more beautiful and balanced example of a barrel-aged beer than 4S Winter '20 - NITRO Mocha Stout. …

Back in 2020, you might’ve enjoyed their BBA Barleywine with Pecan Flavor, BBA Imperial Salted Caramel Oatmeal Stout, and recently their BBA NITRO Imperial Mocha Stout.

If 2020 is any indicator, then there is a lot to look forward to.

Resinator Series.

Unfortunately, this is the end of the road for the series of Rotational IPA known as the Resinator Series. During its life many an experimental release was birthed, including the recently concluded Kismet IPA

Finally, keep your eyes peeled for future, unplanned releases throughout 2021.
