Returning to support North Helpline, Hellbent Brewing Company announces GateCity IPA.

For the fourth year in a row, Seattle’s Hellbent Brewing Company announces the release of GateCity IPA. Plus, $1 from every pint of GateCity IPA will go towards North Helpline.

Conceived of as a fundraising vehicle for North Helpline, in the Seattle neighborhood of Lake City, Hellbent’s mission is simple.

This is the fourth time we’ve made this beer to raise money for the charity North Helpline, a poverty assistance and food bank service right across the street from our brewery.

North Helpline, the benefactor from funds raised by sales of this beer, is a non-profit whose statement is.

We believe that all deserve adequate food, housing, and respect. We assist our neighbors in obtaining basic needs that affirm their human dignity and worth.

With a release party planned for Friday, May 7th, at Hellbent Brewing Company, they encourage you to visit the following locations who are selling pints or 16-ounce four-packs.

Lastly, if supporting a local charity isn’t enough. Consider this beer has been recognized by its peers during the 2018 Washington Beer Awards. The gold medal winner in the American-style IPA category, this beer is Washington winner.

Made with Citra, Simcoe, and Mosaic hops from the Yakima Valley, they summed the beer up as.

… a pale IPA with gentle bready overtones from the malt and vibrant mango, papaya, citrus and pine aromas from the hops.

And at 7.3% and 62 IBU, it’s available at the above locations during Seattle Beer Week and tomorrow. For more information, visit Hellbent's Event Page Here
