Seasonal Stouts

From the mouths of Ben Love,

We have brewed a number of bigger seasonal stouts over the years and they always sell well, so we decided to add a line of Seasonal Stout that continues (almost) year around. We kicked off the series with the return of The Deep, which is out now. Next up is a Mexican Chocolate Stout with chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon and a hint of chili. We're following that up with a delicious Maple Breakfast Stout. In the summer months we will not be making a stout, it just too damn hot  - "No stout, it's summer". As we ease into September we will release a delicious Caramel Coffee Stout. We'll finish the year with an over the top Hazelnut Chocolate stout.

If you didn’t get all that, here are the dates for each beer.

  • The Deep - January & February

  • Mexican Chocolate Stout - March & April

  • Maple Breakfast Stout - May & June

  • No Stout, It’s Summer - July & August

  • Caramel Coffee Stout - September & October

  • Hazelnut Chocolate - November & December

Pipewrench + Cocktail

Following up in 2021, Gigantic Brewing confirms the return of Corpse Reviver Gin Citrus Cocktail Sour. Following this look for Pipewrench Gin Barrel Aged Beer, Pomegranite Gin Barrel Aged Beer, and finally an encore of Pipewrench.

Or.

  • Corpse Reviver - January

  • Pipewrench - April

  • Pomegranite - July

  • Pipewrench - October

Fantastic Voyage

We are preparing to bottle and keg barrels of Fantastic Voyage Brett Saison that have been aging to perfection in our cellar. We will keep you apprised of release dates for those beers.

Most Most Premium

The brewery’s barrel aged Russian Imperial Stout, the brewery is releasing variants including bourbon, scotch, rum, port, and rye whiskey.

Massive!

Because what’s 2021 without more Massive!, the brewery is happy to announce the upcoming release in the Fall of 2021. Included in this release are barrel-aged variants including Weller, Old Forester, Scotch, Mezcal, and Pinot barrels. Set your clocks to October and November 2021.

Fresh Hop

Later in 2021, during the hop harvest season, Gigantic intends on releasing several fresh hopped beers. So far the brewery has confirmed “2 Fresh Hop IPAs” and Fresh Hop Kolschtastic. The rest is TBD until they get their hands on the hops. Look to September, when these beers roll out.

Winter Beer

With the approach of releasing their beloved “The Cat Ate My Stash & Pissed on the Xmas Tree” twice, the brewery is looking to July and October as key months for this release.

Starting in July, the brewery releases a “Cat Ate My Stash”-inspired version of their West Coast IPA and called it Cat Stash Fever. Using the same hops but with a lighter malt body, it’s Christmas in July.

Finally, here’s a list of unconfirmed but omitted beers from 2020.

  • Rainbow Supreme Hazy IPA

  • Mystery Cloud Hazy IPA

  • Project Pilsner - Citra

  • Oktoberfest

  • Shake & Shimmy Juicy IPA

  • Hold Tight Tropical IPA

  • Pipewrench + Cocktail - Blood Orange Gin

About Gigantic Brewing Company

At Gigantic we only do two things: make the best damn IPA in Portland, Oregon and produce seasonal, exciting, flavorful beers, most of which will be brewed only once. Our goal is simultaneously to create new interpretations of classic styles and to ignore those same style guidelines completely and brew whatever our creative natures produce.

We hold ourselves to a simple principle – Never Give an Inch.  We vow to start small and (stubbornly) stay small, focusing our efforts on making exceptional beer, rather than a lot of beer. When you drink Gigantic, know that we didn’t just put our names on the label – our effort, imagination, and dry wit are in every bottle.

Look for Gigantic on tap at your local, and in 500ml bottles at your favorite place to buy good beer. Better yet, come visit us at our Tap Room and Champagne Lounge and Taste the Awesome!

Cheers!
