Released mid-Fall, Octopus Ink is a callback to a time when brewers sought to produce a beer that was both bold but with a notable bitterness.

Brewed or dry-hopped with Chinook, Citra, Simcoe, and Amarillo hops, the beer is remarkable for both it's citrus and piney notes, but also its smooth, stout-like character. But don't like the dark color fool you into thinking this is a quick-sipping stout or porter. At 8.3% ABV (alcohol by volume) and 75 IBU, this beer begs you to take your time as you breakdown the ESB, Munich, Chocolate, and Choco Wheat malts that give it a striking near-dark color.
