EUGENE, Ore.— Independent craft brewery Ninkasi Brewing Company has earned an Honorable Mention in OUTSIDE Magazine’s Best Places to Work in 2019. This news comes amid Ninkasi’s expansion within the Pacific Northwest: The Ninkasi Better Living Room opens in Eugene, Oregon in late January 2020 and their partnership with the Craft District of Tumwater, Washington is expected to open in July 2020.

“Ninkasi strongly values investing in the people who work for our company,” said Ninkasi Chief Operating Officer Jaclyn Rudebeck. “We believe in fostering a great work environment, which in turn leads to exceptional output from our team. It’s an honor to be recognized by OUTSIDE Magazine as one of the best places to work.”

Ninkasi’s core values center around the ideology of “One Team” and include pillars of: “quality output in everything we do, creative pursuit of mastery, successful integration of work and life, and integrity in our actions.” Additionally, all members of the Ninkasi community are expected to positively contribute to the culture of continuous improvement through an intentional focus on the following objectives: safest workplace, zero waste, and best customer experience.

The brewery has previously been awarded OUTSIDE’s Best Places to Work in 2015 and earned a spot in Oregon Business Magazine’s “100 Best Green Workplaces” earlier this year.
