Alesong Brewing and Blending celebrates their 7th anniversary June 24th with a canned release with Cloudburst.

As a tongue in cheek nod to the common practice of breweries releasing once-a-year anniversary beers outside of their normal production styles, Alesong releases a highly anticipated collaboration IPA in cans every year for their anniversary. This year Alesong worked with Seattle’s Cloudburst Brewing to create “7th Canniversary,” a tropical, American IPA made with a blend of old school (Amarillo) and new school (Pacific Sunrise) hops. It’s a soft and citrusy IPA perfect for the Summer. In addition to Alesong’s anniversary, this IPA celebrates the collaborative nature of the beer industry, showcases Cloudburst’s significant expertise in crafting hop-forward beers, and acknowledges that although Alesong makes only barrel-aged beers, we still have plenty of love for the Pacific Northwest’s favorite beer style!

Alesong Brewing & Blending announces their next Alesong & Friends event, featuring Breakside Brewery.

“Everyone knows that Breakside is creating some of the most consistently excellent beer in Oregon across a wide range of styles, but they get less attention for their barrel-aged beers than some of their more mainstream styles,” says Van Wyk. “We’re thrilled to showcase some of those beers that don’t make it out of the brewery taprooms and discuss Breakside’s approach to creating them.”
