Bent Shovel Brewing Company announces the temporary relocation of their taproom, to the Viewpoint Restaurant and Lounge.

After recently being forced to close their taproom, with a rural address, the owners of Bent Shovel Brewing have found a new home at the Viewpoint Restaurant and Lounge.

A quick, seven-minute drive from the brewery at 20189 S Springwater Road in Estacada; Bent Shovel plan to operate the new space as a beer garden starting Winter 2019 through Spring 2020. Afterward, the hope is that they will have a permanent location sourced and ready-to-go by Summer 2020.

“We'd like to thank the kind folks at the Viewpoint for stepping up and helping us out as one small business to another,” said Rick Strauss. “We have really missed our customers these past two week and can't wait to see everyone gather around the bonfire for a pint.”

As of last Friday, November 8th, the brewery's temporary location is open from 2 pm to 6 pm on Fridays, and Saturdays and Sundays from 12 pm to 6 pm. Visitors to the new space will not only be impressed with the sweeping views accented with tented tables and bonfire for those chilly, Fall, nights. Food can , naturally be purchased from nearby Viewpoint Restaurant and the garden is (leashed) dog-friendly.

Bent Shovel Brewing, located at 21678 S Latourette Rd. in Oregon City, remains fully operational, handcrafting a range of beer styles on a 10-barrel system in a retrofitted red barn located along the Clackamas River.
