Belltown Brewing announces weekend beer and brunch pairings

Brunch. It's not lunch and it's not breakfast. It's a hybrid-creation that allows both those nostalgic for their adolescence and those too lazy to wake up on time, an opportunity to enjoy breakfast. Brunch, unlike breakfast, doesn't come with a specific menu. Instead, one is encouraged to enjoy a plate of pancakes paired with a spicy bloody mary or mimosa. In rare occasions, you might even enjoy a fresh-squeezed glass of orange juice. Belltown Brewing, not one to shy from the crowds has announced they are pairing their brewed-on-site beers with familiar recipes at their public house.

Exclusive to Saturday & Sunday from 10 am, Belltown Brewing not only offers burgers and sandwiches but also breakfast classics like french toast, cinnamon rolls, and scrambled eggs. But the kitchen and bar took things a step further by working with head brewer Adam Frantz to not only pair Adam's beers but also to include them in cocktails and dishes.

For more on this, we asked the brewery to supply us with examples and they were eager to help out.

A sample menu from the kitchen.

  • Croque Madam with ham and beer spiked béchamel - $12
  • Beer Braised Bratwurst Egg Scramble - $12
  • Cinnamon Roll with Mocha Stout Icing - $6
  • French Toast with Beer Reduction Maple Syrup - $12

In addition to incorporating the beer in the kitchen, the mixologists in the bar created the following drinks:

  • Michelada with Belltown Brewing’s Local Lager with hot sauce and a lime - $7
  • Brass Monkey with Belltown Brewing’s Bell St. Wheat and fresh squeezed orange juice -  $7
  • Snake Bite with Belltown Brewing Black IPA and hard cider - $7
  • Bottomless Mimosas - $15
  • House-blend Bloody Mary - $8
  • Spiked Cold Brew with vanilla vodka - $7

Like most menus the above list is not permanent and therefore subject to change. For more information, including hours and location, visit https://www.belltownbrewingseattle.com.
