Ever had a problem and you weren’t sure if you could solve it on your own?

For Airways’ brewer and owner Alex Dittmar the crux was how to brew a Rye Pilsner. After giving it some thought he came to the conclusion that asking local brewer Adam Robbings for help provided the solution.

Introducing Airways’ Red Rye Pilsner, a collaboration between Reuben’s Brews and Airways Brewing.

Brewery Description

This crisp, clean, and spicy lager is perfect for the change in weather, and who better to help brew it than Adam Robbings, the expert on rye?

A complex aroma of rich malt, spice, and seltzer water precedes a spicy flavor from the hops and rye. Medium body with a soft and rounded bitterness. A clean, crisp and refreshing lager.

  • ABV: 5.0%
  • IBU: 36
  • Malt: Pilsner, Rye, Munich, Carafa
  • Hops: Magnum, Hallertauer

As of October 1st this beer should be available on drat at both of Airways’ locations. Special thanks to both Alex and Adam for providing the area with a unique style.
