Beer Release: WA: Get It Now … Airways Brewing Final Departure Imperial Stout

Then again we aren't here to remind you that another harvest / oktoberfest-inspired beer is coming soon to a pint or bottle near you. Instead we are here to remind you that although this is Fall the folks at Airways Brewing wish to remind you about the end of days.

Announced a couple of days ago, Airways Brewing is proud to announce one of their first "official" bottle releases in Final Departure Imperial Stout.

“As our time on earth supposedly draws to an end, we’ve brewed up something special and truly unique for what may be the last beer you ever drink,” said Alex Dittmar, owner and head brewer at Airways Brewing Company. “Plus, we figured what better time to start bottling our beer – just in case.”

Much, if you find yourself attracted to the dark, black void; a high gravity beer like an Imperial Stout provides. And this beer has one heck of a market pitch in that this beer is best consumed the night before the End of the Mayan Calendar known as December 21st, 2012.
