Beer Release: WA: Coming Soon … Silver City Liquid Sunshine Belgian-style Tripel
Spring is officially here and already we see some signs that it’s going to be a great one. In fact the last weekend of March showed us that the Pacific Northwest is a sucker for near-70 degree days, filled with cloudless skies.
It’s also a time when people for no reason whatsoever elect to ‘tidy up the place’. And what do you have to show for it afterwards? Some would say an appreciated yard complimented by the neighbors. While others might remind you that muscles can ache.
But after a long day spent in the sun, pulling weeds or mowing the lawn, how do you celebrate your accomplishments? Do you drink some lemonade? Nope. How about a sports drink? Nah. Or maybe you can enjoy a ‘cold' one’.

Brewed at their Bremerton brewer, Don Spencer is happy to announce the release of Liquid Sunshine Belgian-style Tripel.
In the Pacific Northwest, you have to grab the sun where you can find it. Just when you think Spring has arrived, you'll wake up to another grey day. Silver City's Liquid Sunshine is a fortifying, full flavored interpretation of a Trappist Monk's dream beer.
When pressed for a description Don says it’s a Golden Ale with a “… candied sweetness, and finishing dry in the Belgian tradition, our Tripel is Liquid Sunshine any time of year.”
Paired with barbecued chicken or a grilled steak, this 9.00% ABV beer will provide that satisfaction you need after a long day in the yard.
Stop into the brewery (206 Katy Penman) next Thursday (April 11th) to pick up a bottle. While you’re there you should check out their annual beers like Saint Florian India Pale Ale.
