Competition: WA: 9/29 Ninkasi & No-Li compete for The Hop Cup

How’s your day treating you so far?

More importantly, are you heading to CenturyLink (cough, Seahawks Stadium) to watch the Washington State Cougars take on the University of Oregon Ducks? If you answered yes then you won’t mind contributing to the Hop Cup, during the Oregon versus Washington game.

Hop Cup? It’s a healthy competition between one Oregon brewery and one Washington brewery. This being the first year Eugene’s (coincidentally) Ninkasi will be promoting their Total Domination India Pale Ale over Spokane’s No-Li and their Born & Raised India Pale Ale.

Both beers will featured on tap, in the stadium, at the one and only beer garden open to all fans, on the east side main concourse level (around the 50-yard line), AND both of the club level 50-yard line  "Emerald Eye" bars on each side of the stadium.

And the rules are pretty simple, just drink the beer from the brewery you like the most. The first brewery to ‘blow’ (or empty) two kegs of beer will be declared the winner of the Hop Cup. On top of that the winner takes home a trophy that remains with that Oregon or Washington brewery, until the following year, when the competition returns to Centurylink Field.

Get out there and vote with your liver, Washington (or Oregon) is depending on you!
