PDX Beer Week & Gigantic Brewing Company present Snackdown V: The Return! on Father's Day, Sunday June 19th at The Evergreen event space above Loyal Legion. SNACKDOWN! is a fun and entertaining food and beer pairing event where 8 of Portland's best Chefs and 8 Oregon Brewers are paired into 8 Brewer/Chef teams to make their greatest snack and beer pairing. Guests will choose their favorite pairing and the winners will be awarded the SNACKDOWN Belt!

This event is designed to be more fun and loose than you're standard beer dinner. Imagine a WWF style Smackdown with brewers and chefs hyping their pairing on the mic, all while sporting wrestling themed costumes. DJ Rev Shines will be on the decks keeping the party live. $49 includes all 8 small plates and 8 x 5oz beer pours + a collectible glass. Proceeds after expenses go to the family of Ryan Buxton.

Featuring a minimum of 9 unique interpretations of the classic Kölsch-style beer, Gigantic Brewing hosts a "Kölsch Party" on August 19th.

The Kölsch Party will be a unique opportunity for beer enthusiasts to indulge in a variety of exceptional Kölsch beers crafted not only by Gigantic Brewing but also by some of their esteemed friends in the brewing community. Participating breweries include 54-40, Chuckanut, Double Mountain, Living Haus, Occidental, Rosenstadt, Upright, and Zoiglhaus, all of whom have a reverence for this most delicate of German beers.
