Press Release

… Revelstoke, B.C. – Mt. Begbie Brewing Co. has teamed up with Gambrinus Malting and Vessel Packaging Co. to celebrate 25 years with their release of the “Kootenanny Party Pack”, a 12-pack of Revelstoke Lager. $1 from each case sold will be donated to Living Lakes Canada – working towards the long-term protection of fresh water for all Canadians.

Living Lakes Canada is a non-profit organization that bridges the gap between science and action to foster citizen-based water stewardship. Their mandate is to help Canadians understand the intimate connections between water quantity, water quality, land-use, climate change, biodiversity, and healthy human communities by building a water stewardship ethic that all Canadians can be proud of. Living Lakes Canada’s projects and initiatives take place across Canada and throughout British Columbia, including the Columbia River Basin where they are based.

“When designing the packaging we wanted something fun that reflects us, the brewery and our customers, while celebrating 25 years of craft beer! The plaid embodies the Kootenay mountain culture and reflects the relaxed vibe you find out here. We’re an unpretentious bunch and our idea of formal wear is known as the famous Kootenay tuxedo” says Tracey Larson, owner and one of B.C.’s first women in Craft Beer. Revelstoke Lager is described as a classic ‘old school’ lager; crisp, smooth and refreshing. Grab a 12 pack today – available throughout BC & Alberta mid June.
