A truly local series of releases, starting November 12th, Fernie Brewing Company invites you to try their "Discovery Series"

Fernie, BC … As a chance to thank and celebrate their supportive local community, FBC is launching their newest, exclusive and “local-only” series this coming Friday November 12th. As passionate about brewing great beer as they are about their small mountain town, the Discovery Series will be available locally only, in small quantities, with an innovative, new brew dropping in FBC’s Tasting Room every few months.
The Discovery Series will be made up of experimental brews, serving as an opportunity for FBC’s Brew Team to show their creative flair, while giving Fernie Brewing Co. the chance to offer up something special to those that walk through the Tasting Room doors.
Adding to this series’ local flair, FBC is using images taken by local amateur photographers to be featured as a key part of the can design – showcasing the amazing mountain town and local talent.
The No.1 brew in this series is a Best Bitter, which will be available in FBC’s Tasting Room as of Friday November 12th from 12PM.
A beer style which FBC Brewers have long been excited to brew, the Best Bitter is a light beer, brewed with a range of malts including Amber malt and Maris Otter Pale Ale, along with Fuggles and Celeia hops. Boasting a balanced bitterness and medium body, expect a refreshing low-ABV brew, complemented by low carbonation and a delicious malty flavour.
To pair with its November launch, the featuring photo pays homage to those famous Fernie powder days and is taken by local photographer, Dale Montgomerie @Dalemontphoto.

Fernie Brewing Co. – Discovery Series Launch – November 2021
A small-batch, single brew, FBC’s Discovery Series will be available for a limited time via Fernie Brewing Co.’s Tasting Room in tall cans and on tap, as well as at local Fernie liquor stores.
As part of an ongoing series, FBC has now opened photo submissions for their No.2 brew in this series, which will hit local shelves February 2022.
