On this, their 11th year in business, the ownership and staff invite you to celebrate their anniversary. How might you ask? Well, with a fucking beer! Sorry, this writer is frustrated he didn’t get around to standing in a virtual line, to recover a limited-edition, 1.5L magnum. Oh, and this writer also didn’t get his hands on a bottle of Imperial Stout aged for 15 months in Westland Peated whiskey barrels. And, full-disclosure here, I haven’t gotten around to purchasing a bottle of Barrel-aged 11th Anniversary Stout.

What does any of what was just said, have anything to do with celebrating, you ask? Well, other than practicing a bit of self-serving inclusion, nothing - if you don’t want to find out how to get your hands on a bottle of Barrel Aged 11th Imperial Stout. But let’s review what was released last Thursday.

For those who haven’t visited Fremont Brewing Company, swing in and check out not only their diverse selection of beers but also see if they still have 11th Anniversary bottles lying around. And those limited-edition beers, the ones I was bitching about, they sold out of the 1.5L Magnums and the Peated-edition of their 11th Anniversary. But hey, they saved some for the rest of you, who didn’t hear about the online sale or aren’t comfortable schlepping it to a beer garden for some beer. That’s right, they are distributing their Barrel-Aged 11th Anniversary wherever you see (mostly) their Fremont beers.

Don’t be like this self-serving tool, track down a bottle of Fremont Brewing’s Barrel Aged 11th Anniversary Imperial Stout, and celebrate 11 years of brewing (barrel-aged) beers.
