Owing to King County’s approval to move into Phase 2 of Washington State’s “Safe Start” plan for businesses, Brouwer’s Cafe is taking the cautious step of reopening it’s outdoor and indoor seating areas. Although both indoor and outdoor seating will be back, it will come with caveats including 25% seating capacity indoors and 50% seating outdoors. In order to meet this requirement, businesses like Brouwer’s will need to ensure tables are 6 feet apart from another.

In addition to keeping tables a safe distance from another, each table can only have 5 or less adults of the same group. This also means guests will be asked to remain at their seats, unless exiting, entering, or using the restroom.

As a restaurant, we want to maximize the amount of people who can enjoy a meal here, while also following all the protocols to keep you and ourselves safe. It’s a fine line we’re trying to navigate here, keeping our business going, but also trying to keep everyone protected. We know it is a tense time, but we hope to assuage your concerns by taking all necessary safety measures and following them strictly.

Initially re-opened during the week of June 15th, but closed June 21st for the Solstice, so far the “grand experiment” is a work in progress with hours limited to between 4 pm and 8 pm most night, with the exception of Friday’s conclusion at 9 pm. In addition to dine-in, Brouwer’s Cafe is still offering takeout for those not ready to dine-in.
