Like so many other events, the Bend Brewfest is another casualty after exercising caution over profit. If you want to move onto other stories, we won’t blame you. But if you want to see the whole announcement, we’ve included it below.

Press Release

With heavy hearts, Bend Brewfest has made the decision to cancel its 2020 event due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation. The decision was not an easy one, as this annual event has a great impact on craft beer fans, regional breweries, local non-profits and the Bend community alike. However, the health and safety of guests and employees remains the top priority of Bend Brewfest. All brewers whose applications were accepted for the 2020 event will have an automatic spot at next year’s event.

Typically held at Les Schwab Amphitheater in Bend, Oregon’s Old Mill District, Bend Brewfest was founded in 2002 and draws more than 70 breweries and 40,000 patrons from around the region. Last year’s event raised more than $15,000 for charity, with nearly $100,000 raised since the event’s inception.
