(OR) February is Stout Month at Fort George Brewing

That’s right, it’s Stout Month at the brewery and restaurant, featuring over 8 stouts this year. Look for Badda Bing (a flanders-style sour cherry stout, The Murky Pearl (brewed with Willapa Bay oysters), Bourbon Barrel-aged Cavatica Stout, Spank Stout (brewed with three varieties of hot pepper), and the ever popular Coffee Girl Stout (made with espresso). As always a flight of all the featured beers will be available for a blind tasting, along with shirts from the gift shop.

It doesn’t end with the beers either, as the kitchen gets to work their skills with the “Stout & Oysters” Brewer’s Dinner on the 10th (of February). The dinner will feature over five (5) oyster themed courses all paired will seleve stouts. Cost for this event is $55 for one person or save $10 and take a second person.

Finally, throughout the month there will be several guest stouts including Deschutes The Abyss.
