Five feels like some sort of milestone number, especially in the bar restaurant world. We're happy as hell we're still here! So, we're throwing another party and hope to top the last four.
Once again we're commemorating with a special beer in our "Nail in the Coffin" series. The "Fifth Nail" this year is a Sour Blonde brewed and blended by our friends at Engine House No. 9, availabe both on Draft and in Bottle starting the 22nd.
We'll also have either a variation or the original brew of all other "Nails in the Coffin" to date (our last year doing so as we'll be out after the party).
1st Nail - Fremont Brewing: We'll be pouring the latest batch of Rusty Nail, the barrel aged version of 1st nail and recently rated on RateBeer "Best Beer in Washington"
2nd Nail - 10 Barrel Brewing Company: (Pre-AB!) Tanya put some of our 2nd Nail Ciderweisse in a pinot noir barrel with Brett. Last Keg.
3rd Nail - Holy Mountain Brewing: Their first bottleilng ever and our last keg of the 3rd nail.
4th Nail - Stoup Brewing made us a Belgian Imperial Stout which we'll have in regular, and 1 year aged in Rye Whiskey Barrels
If that's not enough we're calling our friends and emptying the cellar of fun, rare, and wierd beers.
More details to come.
