Suicide Squeeze Special Edition | IPA - American | 7.2% ABV
Not the same session IPA from 2014 — the brewery has remastered the recipe in a big, big way. Artfully cut like a 7” vinyl, *Special Edition pops with Mosaic, Amarillo, and Citra hops. Front loaded with organic 2-row barley and paired with deep cuts of specialty malt — Suicide Squeeze IPA is a well-rounded experience.
May the Oats Be With You | 7.2% ABV
The dark side is strong in stouts, but the force of oats creates a balance that pulls you from the depths of darkness. Vast amounts of oats were added for a fuller body, minimizing the bitterness that can come from darker malts. Brewed with all European hops to lend a nice earth and spice character.
* Overdub Session IPA | 4.5% ABV *
A good beer is like a good sound recording, balanced and pristine. Soft and subdued when it needs to be - In your face and crankin’ when it must. Fort George invites you to put on your headphones and sample a can of Overdub IPA, a collaboration with Tape Op, the creative music recording magazine. Pouring a solid gold with a crisp white head, Overdub IPA is a sensory overload of mango and papaya hop aromas, dank grapefruit tones, and mellow citrus finishing notes. (Based on availability, may be replaced with newly released Big Guns IPA)
* Plaid Scotch Ale | 7% ABV *
SMOOTH, TOASTY, INVITING
You can hear it in the crackle of the campfire. You can see it in the rich, coppery sunsets. Autumn is back. The coming of cool weather blankets the Pacific Northwest in a tapestry of colors, textures, and aromas—much like Fort George’s Plaid Scotch Ale. Toasty, warm, and inviting, this fall and winter seasonal offering is available just when you need it.
* Vortex IPA | 7.7% ABV | 97 IBU *
India Pale Ales’ were designed to withstand the long voyage to India. Today, it seems one has to design the IPA strong and hoppy enough to make the trip back as well. Vortex IPA is Fort George’s first foray into this strong beer category. With generous additions of Simcoe ,Amarillo and Cascade hops throughout the brewing, fermentation and conditioning phases, balanced with heaps of organic pale malt, we designed this to not rip your taste buds off your tongue, but rather vigorously stimulate them and your palate into a lupulinecstacy of pleasure. During the cross-country truck trip our brewery made to find it’s home in Astoria it was nearly scattered to the cornfields of Nebraska by a tornado. We try to capture some of nature’s intensity in every pint.
* Coffee Girl Imperial Stout | 9% ABV *
This year’s Coffee Girl is dry hopped with 5.5 lbs. of Ethiopian Yirgacheffe coffee roasted by the Columbia River Coffee Roasters. the beans impart a bit of a fruity taste along with hints of hazelnut, cream, and smooth caramel. This is a perfect blend for our Coffee Girl beer that has a strong roasted chocolate taste. This beer honors Zetty McKay, who hand-picks the coffee for our stout every year, making sure that the coffee is in the perfect condition to blend with our smooth, chocolatey stout. The beans sat and aged with the beer for a week, and in that time, the beans and brew evolved into something spectacular. A must try for coffee lovers.
