This barrel-aged variety is our very popular Export Stout aged for 1 year in

Westland Distillery’s Oregon Oak whiskey barrels. This beer boasts an

impressive spirit forward nose, with hints of wood, and dried cherry. High gravity lends itself to a very rich and smooth mouth feel. The palate is generously rewarded with hints of chocolate, coconut, and dried cherry.

In this beer, our decadent expression of full flavors with layers of rich stout, charred wood, and complex spirits. Aged in American Single Malt Whiskey barrels from Westland Distillery, Overstory has notes of cocoa, toasted mallow and almond.

Locality Wine Barrel Aged Into the Woods Black Forest Imperial Stout

Like its non barrel aged counterpart, this Imperial Stout has bold chocolate notes that are balanced with a hint of cherry and a creamy , smooth finish. The uniqueness comes from notes of vanilla, berries, and dark fruit that have been imparted by Valley Commons Cabernet Sauvignon French oak barrels.
