Fortside Fresh Cut
Ya’ll know that feeling when you hear your new favorite song for the first time? When you just can’t get enough, put it on repeat for days on end, buy it in every format? When it’s all you can talk about, all you can think about, all you can dream about? This beer is like that. A super soft and creamy oaty base provides the rhythmic foundation for this absolutely insane expression of fresh hop flavor. First Fresh Strata Hops in the whirlpool kick in with a groove dripping in juicy grapefruit, lime, orange blossom, and a heady dankness. Then come the real rock stars- a dry hopping of Fresh wet picked-an-hour-ago Willamette absolutely jams, and just when you think it can’t get any more slamming a final blast of identically fresh Cascade kicks in. Drop the needle but don’t stray far from the turntable- as soon as the cut is over you’ll just wanna go back and do it over and over again, an encore in perpetuity.

Willamette hops were historically one of the most prevalent hops grown in the United States that accounted for nearly 20% of the hop crop at its peak. Willamette is the daughter of Fuggle and carries with it the same pepper and spice. It is primarily used as an aroma hop due to its low Alpha Acid content, which usually sits around 4-6%. Works really well when brewing darker styles for the colder months.
