Hailing from Seattle’s Atlantic neighborhood, Standard Brewing has announced their upcoming 10th year celebration. With plans to celebrate March 18th and 19th, the brewery shared this as part of their announcement.

How did this happen? Most of you never got to see us incubate in the back corner of our building. It seems pretty wild now to think about how we got our start, with a bunch of ramshackle equipment and duct tape. For those of you that remember our building being yellow and purple, with double deep parking spaces and a bar with space for 8, it seems like a lifetime ago.

At 2504 S Jackson Street in Seattle, the brewery’s party includes live music, a truly unique smoked salmon sandwich (smoked in a prior-use whiskey barrel), guest bartenders from Standard Brewing’s past, awaits you. In fact, here’s a breakdown of music and bartenders each day.

LIVE music

SATURDAY

  • 2:30pm: DVonne Lewis Trio (w/Dean Schmidt on bass and Tim Kennedy on keys)

  • 5pm: Evan Flory Barnes

  • 7pm: Vitamin D

SUNDAY

  • 3pm: Gary V (fka Prism Tats)

  • 5pm: Yuuki Matthews (The Shins) and Elliot Jackson (Deep Sea Diver) - DJ Set

  • 7pm: Tomo Nakayama

Guest bartenders

Saturday

  • 1pm-5pm: Scott Hadley

  • 5pm-9pm: Darren Archer

Sunday

  • 1pm-4pm: Laura Vandercrimp

Also, look out for the usual celebratory merchandise and a celebratory draught beer aged (around a year) in bourbon barrels and with Broadcast Coffee called I’M NOT MAD. Finally, for the non-beer crowd, the brewery is featuring BEE'S WINE https://seattlerefined.com/eat-drink/the-secret-at-seattles-tastiest-tiny-brewery and Tepache (made with pineapple, piloncillo sugar, cinnamon, and clove).
