A collaboration between Seattle's Bottleworks, Bellingham's Ponderosa Beer + Books, Artivem Mead Co., and Aslan Brewing; get to know Hive Mind Honey Dark Lager.

First previewed on February 9th, via their Instagram account, Aslan Brewing Company recently collaborated with three unique small businesses.
Those businesses? None other than Ponderosa Beer + Books, Bottleworks, and Artivem Mead Co.
Each of these businesses, in cooperation with Aslan Brewing, they contribute by supporting natural ingredients, producing small, while promoting hospitality paired with something nourishing, be it book, beer, or mead. Through this unique collaboration, the businesses have collaborated to release a unique beer - Hive Mind Dark Honey Lager.
Described by Aslan’s Head Brewer, Austin Umbinetti-Hutton, they sum Hive Mind up like this.
At 4.3 percent ABV, this beer is smooth and easy drinking, yet rich in flavors of honey, and notes of espresso, finishing slightly herbal. We really hope this beer creates a "buzz" around town!!

To achieve these characteristics, complimented by a smooth 4.3% sessionability, the brewery used malts Munich, Vienna, Caramunich, Carafa Adjuncts, along with Smaragd hops, and finally Coffee Blossom Honey.
