Announced earlier this month, Seattle’s Pike Brewing Company has announced intent to open a second location, this time in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood. With plans to operate out of the Bramling Cross, in December, this marks the first time Pike Brewing has operated outside of the Pike Place Market. Reflecting on what got them to this point, Drew Gillespie, President of of Pike Brewing had this to say.

“It’s been a big year of growth for Pike Brewing. Opening a taproom in Ballard is an exciting way for us to introduce our new and improved beers, new team, and fresh look to a whole new audience.”

At 5205 Ballard Ave NW, the Pike Taproom will feature a divergent menu from their other locations in the Market, designed by Seattle’s Chef Ethan Stowell. With a focus on burgers, wings, salads, and the brewery’s famous pretzel, continues to guide this nearly 25-year-old brewery, through thought-out menu recipes.

Besides the food, the brewery will showcase their entire portfolio including seasonal and limited-release beers. Special attention has been made to feature a rotating draft, associated with one of Ballard’s many breweries. Along with beer, the brewery will offer local cider and cocktails courtesy of their full bar.

Additional flourishes include shuffleboards and vintage-truck seats, and television throughout the space for every sporting occasion.
