Press Release

Seattle – Métier Brewing Company (MBC), a purpose-driven, award-winning Black-owned craft brewery in Washington recently debuted its newest endeavor, a non-alcoholic canned Sparkling Hop Water.

MBC’s Sparkling Hop Water is a crisp, citrusy and piney zero-proof hop water beverage that displays a burst of energizing juniper and hoppy aromas, delivering all of the taste without the ABV. Brewed with Chinook hops, MBC’s Sparkling Hop Water is refreshing, produced with Chinook’s piney, smokey earthiness up front and a juniper berry fruity, citrusy finish.

“We’re guided by our mission to brew damn good beer and build stronger communities to inspire bigger dreams for all. As part of that, MBC is continually focused on finding ways to create inclusive spaces for people of all backgrounds and interests, including those who might prefer an alternative to our traditional beers,” said MBC co-founder and CEO Rodney Hines. “Adding Sparkling Hop Water provides more variety for those interested in non-alcoholic menu options.”

MBC has been offering its Sparkling Hop Water on tap at its Woodinville location and its popularity has grown quickly with customers and staff alike, Hines added.

Just released in a convenient 8 oz. can, MBC’s Sparkling Hop Water is extremely versatile and the ideal companion for adventure. High in antioxidants and vitamin C from the juniper berries, Sparkling Hop Water is perfect for sipping on a sunny day with your favorite food, throwing in your backpack for a hike, or – for those who are inclined – mixing with your favorite spirit for a refreshing cocktail.

“MBC seems to be challenging the idea of what a ‘traditional brewery’ is,” said Chef Chris Webber of Washington’s award-winning restaurant, The Herbfarm, which offers MBC beverages on its menu. “They are considering the flavor and sensibility not only in what they craft, but they’re also making sure that every beverage and person has a place at the table. With their new Hop Water, MBC is giving us a refreshing challenge to convention.”

MBC Sparkling Hop Water is brewed at its Woodinville, Wash., production facility and taproom, and is available on tap and now in an 8 oz. can, making it the perfect addition to any adventure and any night spent in or out. Featuring MBC’s new logo, Sparkling Hop Water’s artwork was created by local Seattle artist, Jessie Lipscomb also known as Momma Lips Draws. Do as the can says: Grab. Refresh. Go. on all the adventures life throws your way.

Those who appreciate a well-crafted brew also can find MBC beers at premier restaurants, taprooms and bars throughout Washington’s Puget Sound region. To learn more, visit www.metierbrewing.com.
