A celebration 5 years in the making, Seattle's Figurehead Brewing celebrates on September 2nd - 7th.

Press Release

Seattle, WA – Figurehead Brewing Company celebrates five years of beers on September 2nd, kicking off five days of beer releases, live music, and special events.

“The last five years, and especially the last year and a half, have had lots of ups and downs but we’re forever grateful for the amazing support from the local community” says founder Bob Monroe. “We wanted to take a pause and celebrate with our family, friends, and supporters, recognizing how far we’ve come.”

Figurehead has brewed two special anniversary beers for release on Sept. 2nd, an American wheatwine aged on French and Brazilian oak, and a red farmhouse IPA aged on Spanish cedar. Both beers will be available in bottles with pre-sale beginning 8/26 through figureheadbrewingcompany.com and on draft in the taproom starting 9/2.

The celebration will also feature live music daily in the beergarden, a panel session with the three founders of Figurehead, raffle and door prizes, limited vintage beers, and the release of special collaboration brews with Decibel Brewing and Dirty Couch Brewing.

On Sunday September 5th there will be a food and beer pairing event with food provided by Figurehead bestie, Midnite Ramen. The dinner will feature five diverse menu items prepared by chef Elmer Komagata paired with five different Figurehead brews. Tickets are limited and available now through the Figurehead website.

No gifts required for this five-year-old birthday party, but Figurehead will be donating 10% of sales each day to a different charity.

For a detailed calendar of events, to pre-order bottles (beginning 8/26), and to order food pairing tickets go to figureheadbrewingcompany.com.
