Brewed as part of their Small Batch board, in 2019, Apero is a low-calorie alternative to your big, beefy, India Pale Ales, Hazy India Pale Ales, or a pint of Imperial Stout. Brewed to be both refreshing and light in calories and alcohol, Apero is now available in cans in two flavors - Blackberry and Pomegranate.

This rotating fruited brut beer series is not only incredibly crushable and refreshing, but it’s also a whole lot of fun. Just what do we mean by "fruited brut beer?" Well as for the fruit, we are constantly rotating what we choose to use with each batch, from berries to American orchard fruits to tropical fruits, there is a whole array of options that can create a bright and delicious beer. As for the brut part, what we are referencing is the incredibly dry and effervescent nature of this beer.
Weighing in at 4.5% ABV (alcohol by volume) and 100 calories per 12 ounces, Apero Blackberry makes use of traditional 2-row malt, toasted rice, and UK Admiral hops, before fermenting with blackberries or pomegranates. Meanwhile, Apero Pomegranate makes use of traditional 2-row malt, flaked rice,UK Admiral hops, coriander seed, sweet orange peel, and chamomile before fermenting with blackberries or pomegranates.
Described by the brewer, Blackberry Apero is ruby red with an off-pink head, a noticeable fruit forward appeal and a dry, crisp, finish. If Pomegranate is more your thing, then you’ll love Apero Pomegranate for its notes of grapefruit, pomegranate, sweet berries, and floral perfume.
