Fremont Brewing Company announces five fresh hop beers, including canned Field to Ferment, Cowiche Canyon, and Head Full of Fresh Hops.

Hops, once planted, properly nourished, do not care about pandemics or wildfires. But to reach their potential, they require occasional guidance along the bines, complimenting the farms of nearby Valleys like the Yakima and Willamette. They provide the bitterness and aromas in your beer, and nearly every year in late August, early September, they are harvested. Fremont Brewing, a brewery that respects and uses hops from the Pacific Northwest, in beers like their Field to Ferment series Fresh Hop Pale Ale or the Cowiche Canyon Fresh Hop Ale.

Today, the brewery, after much waiting, is ready to announce the upcoming release of several beers, available in cans and on draft.

Fremont is really into fresh hops and we're excited to bring you “Hop Drops” in September and early October, with three different, canned fresh hop beers and a few brewery-only draft options.

Brewed with nearly 25 pounds of, right off the bine, fresh hops per barrel; Fremont Brewing pays homage and respect to their proximity to the largest areas producing hops in the country.

Being so close to Yakima, the world’s hop capital, allows us to partner closely with multi-generational hop farmers, perusing their hop fields and comparing hops for aroma and flavor. Our brewers and sensory team then pick the most flavorful of each hop variety for our beers.
