National Homebrew Day is coming, May 7th. Here's what you can do to celebrate.

Celebrated every May 7th, the National Homebrew Day is an opportunity to join fellow homebrewers in observing the seed which that gave birth to craft beer as we know it. Which probably explains why the American Homebrewers Association (AHA) is celebrating with the AHA Big Brew which encourages homebrewers to brew this year's recipes, selected by AHA/Brewers Association founder Charlie Papazian. Oh and this year's official Big Brew recipes—are Rocky Raccoon’s Honey Lager and Dusty Mud Irish-style Stout

Then, at noon CDT, all homebrewers and supporters of craft beer are encouraged to raise a glass toasting beer, brewed by amateurs and professionals.

For more information visit this interactive map to find participating breweries and businesses, supporting the AHA Big Brew. Finally, you're encouraged to "... register your local AHA Big Brew event and join the conversation on Twitter with #BigBrew18."
